Responding to the international success of the new [[streamlined]] style, [[Aurora]] started redesigning of its own models, that saw the gradual abandonment of flat shapes. In [[1930]] the new [[Superba]] model was introduced, still a [[lever filler]], and clearly derived from [[Aurora Duplex|Duplex]], but with tapered ends characterized by a very original style. The pen was produced only in the pearl and black, red and lapis colors, and remained in production for a very short time, which makes it very rare and highly sought.
