Nel [[1935]] l'azienda fu trasformata in industria bellica. Nel [[1945]] gli impianti di produzione di Oranienburg furono distrutti, i resti smantellati dall'Armata Rossa e lo stabilimento fu nazionalizzato. Nel sito fu fondata la VEB Kaltwalzwerk Oranienburg, che fu ammodernata più volte e produceva nastri laminati a freddo. La fabbrica di Georgenkirchstraße, che ora apparteneva a Berlino Est, fu confiscata e divenne proprietà del popolo (VEB) nel [[1949]].
