Passando il cappuccio da una parte all'altra era quindi più veloce passare da una scrittura all'altra. Inoltre il meccanismo di incernieramento a forbice alla fine si può considerare meno delicato rispetto ai ben più complessi meccanismi degli altri modelli citati.
