''Geha'' entered the fountain pen market in [[1950]], with the production of economic pens made for the student market called [[Regent]], featuring a band with the company logo. The distinguishing feature of the ''Geha'' pens was the use of a [[piston filler]] equipped with a special ink reservoir (see patents {{Cite patent|GB|666830}} and {{Cite patent|DE|958812}}) that allowed an emergency reserve to be maintained, usable by pushing a pin located under the feeder.

Later models passed to [[cartridge filler]], while maintaining the ink reservoir through the use of two separate cartridges, as for the [[Aurora]] [[Duo-Cart]]. Nel [[1957]] la produzione venne riorganizzata, venne tolta la veretta con il logo, passando ad un semplice anello sul bordo cappuccio, ed introducendo una classificazione di fascia di prezzo in base al numero di anelli posti sopra il cappuccio. Le penne erano comunque identificate, come per le precedenti [[Regent]] da un codice numerico di tre cifre, e per lo più denominate [[Geha-Schulfüller]].
