Per questo la compagnia investì pesantemente nel miglioramento delle strutture produttive e nel 1921 lanciò una nuova linea di penne in metallo, chiamate [[Wahl Engine Turned|Wahl All Metal Fountain Pen]] per la quale aveva predisposto un apparato produttivo all'avanguardia in termini di efficienza nella produzione.
