L'azienda era originariamente svizzera ed indipendente (fondata a Zurigo da ''Fritz Dimmler''), anche se si limitava a commercializzare penne prodotte da altri. Non è nota una data esatta di fondazione, ma in Italia il marchio è stato depositato nel [[1912]], che si assumerà come data di fondazione. Il marchio è noto soprattutto per essere stato usato dalla [[Montblanc]] (non è chiaro se con una acquisizione o in maniera indipendente) per la sua produzione di fascia più bassa, con modelli analoghi alla serie [[Montblanc 34x|340]]. Non è chiaro fino a quando è rimasta una azienda indipendente, ma sicuramente nel dopoguerra la produzione è [[Montblanc]]. Si sa per certo che in Italia il marchio ({{Marchio|12889}}), registrato originariamente da tale ''Walter Kessel'', è stato trasferito alla [[Montblanc]] nel settembre [[1920]].

The brand is best known for being used by the Montblanc (it is unclear whether a purchase or independently) for its lower-end production, with models similar to the series 340. It is not clear until it has remained a separate company, but certainly in the post-war production is Montblanc. We know for a fact that in Italy the brand (Reg. Gen. N. 12889), originally recorded by such Walter Kessel, was transferred to the Montblanc in September 1920.
