La [[Goldfink]], che arrivò ad aprire a Berlino fino a sette negozi, ebbe il suo apice negli anni '30, nel periodo di massimo splendore della capitale tedesca, divenendo uno dei principali produttori tedeschi di materiale da cancelleria; per quanto riguarda la produzione delle penne le varie parti erano realizzate dalla ''[[Melbi]]'' di Odenwald, dalla ''Columbus'' di Fürth e dalla ''[[Fend]]'' di Pforzheim. Di questo periodo è la creazione del sistema ''Doppeltank'', a doppio serbatoio. Dopo la guerra con la divisione della Germania e la perdita di rilevanza della capitale, anche l'azienda subì un declino, anche se il negozio [[Goldfink]] restò ancora in attività. Il marchio è stato recentemente riportato in vita per una produzione di penne artigianale.

The brand has recently been brought back to life for a production of handcrafted pens.
