Il materiale divenne anche il nome con cui venivano indicate le penne della [[Carter Pearltex Pen|fascia di punta]], realizzate in diverse dimensioni con pennini di misura compresa fra la 2 e la 8 ed in diversi colori iridescenti, denominati ''Rose Petal'', ''Wave Green'', ''Cerulean Blue'' e ''Pearl White''.
