According to what is reported on this article the company was born from the name change of the previous "Anglo-Americanische-Füllfeder-Gesellschaft", owner of the Angloamer brand. It is not clear, however, the origin of the company, being the latter clearly linked to the activities of Lang, whether as a subsidiary made independent, or separated perhaps during the First World War.
