Ma il vero capolavoro della [[Wahl Eversharp]] verrà alla luce nel [[1931]]: la [[Doric]], in celluloide sfaccettata, in puro stile art Decò, che si diceva ispirarsi alle colonne dei templi greci. La nuova penna, una delle più belle penne mai costruite, venne realizzata in celluloide in cinque colori dai nomi esotici, ''Kashmir'', ''Morocco'', ''Cathay'', ''Burma'' ed il classico ''Jed Black''. A questo si aggiunse, anche se non compariva nelle pubblicità ed è stato prodotto soltanto per un periodo molto breve, il ''Pearl Black'', che pertanto è molto raro.
