Questo viene trasmesso all'aria contenuta all'interno del fusto, provocandone una espansione che altera così l'equilibrio della pressione fra interno e esterno. Benché oggi sia tornato di moda in qualche modello, per il suo gusto ''retrò'', resta comunque, posto che lo si possa davvero considerare tale, un ''sistema'' di caricamento primitivo.<noinclude>
