Eugenio rimase proprietario del marchio Columbus, mentre Alfredo fondò una sua nuova azienda che prese il nome di Omega A.V.M. (registrato lo stesso anno, Reg. Gen. N. 35467), dove A.V.M. è l'acronimo di Alfredo Verga Milano.
