Smontando una Parker 51 Aerometric, può accadere che il tubetto del gruppo di alimentazione (pennino,portapennino ed alimentatore) possa presentarsi piegato come in Fig.1 In questo caso,anche se il tubetto potrebbe essere solamente piegato,quasi certamente, raddrizzandolo finirà con lo spaccarsi definitivamente. Vediamo come possiamo rimediare a questa situazione.

Occorre precisare che il tubetto (breather tube) delle prime Parker 51 Aerometric era in argento (sterling silver). Fu poi sostituito successivamente dalla Parker con un tubetto plastico. La funzione del Breather Tube (traducibile in tubetto di sfiato)è quella di fornire
