Ma dalle registrazioni della camera di commercio di Torino risulta che l'azienda è stata fondata a Torino il 23 giugno [[1926]] con la denominazione iniziale di ''Società Anonima Pennini King'', ed il marchio ''The King'' risulta registrato dalla stessa in data 8 novembre 1926 (vedi {{MarchioLocale|Torino|1|269}}), ma la dicitura riporta come sede S. Secondo 33.
